Irina Volohina is a Talent Acquisition Expert, Recruitment Strategist, and author of The Recruiter's Lens.
Originally from Tiraspol, Transnistria, Moldova, Irina began her professional career in the hospitality industry, where she developed a strong foundation in customer service and business operations. After relocating to Qatar, she continued her career in hospitality before expanding into other sectors, including retail and facilities management, gaining valuable experience across diverse Human Resources environments.
Over the course of more than 15 years, Irina has built extensive expertise in talent acquisition, recruiting across multiple industries and organizational levels. Her experience spans everything from large-scale workforce mobilization and mass hiring campaigns to the recruitment of senior leaders and C-level executives. Throughout her career, she has successfully sourced and hired talent from Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, giving her a broad understanding of international labour markets and cross-cultural recruitment.
During her career in Qatar, Irina has contributed to recruitment initiatives supporting major projects and organizations, including Hamad International Airport, Qatar Rail, Qatar Free Zones Authority, Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar Foundation, the Museum of Islamic Art, and the National Museum of Qatar
Passionate about the transformative impact that the right hire can have on an organization, Irina has led and developed high-performing recruitment teams, implemented recruitment strategies, and supported organizations through periods of growth and change. She believes that recruitment is not simply about filling positions but about creating opportunities for both businesses and individuals to thrive.

Inspired by these experiences, she wrote The Recruiter's Lens, a book designed to help job seekers better understand the recruitment process, navigate applications and interviews with confidence, and present themselves more effectively in today's competitive job market.
